1. Information we collect

We only collect the information needed to reserve, confirm and service your studio session, or to answer a message you send us.

• Contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, and optional Instagram or Facebook handle.
• Booking details: date, start and end time, number of hours, type of shoot, photographer name, backdrop selections, guest count, and special requests.
• Agreement records: the full legal name you type as your electronic signature, the date and time you signed, and your acceptance of the studio policies.
• Payment records: confirmation number, amount paid and payment status. Card numbers are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout and are never stored on our servers.
• Message content: anything you write in the contact form.

2. How we use your information

• Reserve your time slot and prevent double bookings.
• Send your booking confirmation, a copy of your signed rental agreement, and your morning-of session reminder.
• Process payment and issue records for your reservation.
• Contact you about your booking, a schedule change, or a question you sent us.
• Keep records required for our rental agreement, accounting and legal obligations.

3. Marketing

Booking and reminder emails are transactional — they are part of the service you purchased. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission. If we ever send studio news or promotions, every message will include an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make the site work, and only to the extent they need it:

• Our payment processor, to securely take and record your payment.
• Our email provider, to deliver confirmation and reminder emails.
• Our hosting and database provider, to store bookings and site content.
• Law enforcement or legal counsel, if we are legally required to disclose information.

5. Cookies and site data

The site uses only the storage needed to keep your booking session working and to keep studio staff signed in to the admin dashboard. We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

Booking, payment and signed agreement records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Contact form messages are kept until they are no longer needed to respond to your inquiry.

7. Security

Booking data is stored in a protected database with row-level access rules, and admin access requires a password-protected sign-in. Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
• Ask us to stop contacting you outside of active bookings.

9. Photography and images

You own the photos and video you create in the studio. We do not claim rights to your work. We may photograph the studio space itself for marketing, and we only share images of a client's session with written permission.

10. Children

The site is intended for adults booking a studio session. We do not knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 18. Minors may be present at a session under adult supervision, as described in the rental agreement.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the studio grows or as our providers change. The current version is always posted on this page.
